The role

Airports are more than terminals, they’re ecosystems. Retail, food, services, passenger flow, data, design… it all comes together to shape the traveller experience and drive revenue.

We’re looking for a Manager, Commercial Planning who can connect those dots.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll work across a network of airports, helping shape commercial strategies, optimize performance, and deliver advisory projects that move the needle. If you like solving complex problems, working across teams, and turning data into action, this one’s worth a look.

What you’ll be responsible for:

You’ll sit at the intersection of strategy, operations, and analytics, with a strong consulting lens. You will:

Concessions Planning, Procurement & Leasing

· Analyze passenger data (flows, dwell time, spend) to shape retail, food & beverage, and service strategies

· Support long-term commercial plans aligned with terminal expansions and traffic forecasts

· Help drive non-aeronautical revenue growth across the network

Space Allocation & Design Input

· Define concession space needs using data and facility insights

· Partner with planners, architects, and operations teams to design layouts that balance experience and efficiency

· Recommend optimal mix, size, and placement of commercial offerings to maximize performance

Leasing & Commercial Execution

· Support the full leasing lifecycle, from prospecting through negotiation to execution

· Develop RFPs, contracts, and supporting documentation for concession programs

· Track lease terms, expirations, and portfolio performance to proactively manage risk

Advisory Services Delivery

· Lead and support commercial advisory projects across multiple airports

· Act as a key client contact, managing relationships, timelines, and deliverables

· Turn complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership

Business Development & Growth Support

· Identify and support new revenue opportunities across concessions, parking, land, and services

· Build strong relationships with clients, operators, and partners

· Contribute to win strategies and help grow the commercial services portfolio

What you bring:

You don’t need to check every box, but you should bring a strong mix of commercial thinking, analytical horsepower, and relationship skills.

· You hold a bachelor’s degree in business, strategy, operations, architecture (with an emphasis in planning), or related field

· At least two (2) years’ experience working in a project management or commercial coordinator role, ideally in an airport environment

· Experience in commercial strategy, consulting, project management, or airport environments

· Strong ability to turn data into insights, and insights into action

· Comfortable working across teams and time zones to get things done

· Confident communicator who can influence stakeholders and present to leadership

· Naturally curious: asks “why,” challenges assumptions, and navigates ambiguity well

· Highly organized, self-directed, and solutions-focused

Bonus points for:

· Experience in aviation, infrastructure, or complex operational environments

· Exposure to leasing, concessions, or revenue-generating programs

· Advanced degree (MBA or similar) in aviation or architecture

This isn’t a sit-back-and-maintain role. It’s for someone who wants to build, influence, and improve how airports perform commercially—and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to do it.

The salary range for this position is $107,500-120,000 USD.

This is a hybrid/remote position with a preference for candidates located near one of our operating locations.
